Thomas Kim

Thomas Kim is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of The UNX Companies LLC.  Under his leadership, UNX aims to make a lasting contribution to the capital markets by helping to improve the technology standards in how institutions trade electronically with their broker-dealer counterparts and how broker-dealers and other 3rd party vendors can deliver proprietary content in a more meaningful way, all through UNX's open technology Catalyst EMS and Portal. Thomas' background uniquely prepares him to lead UNX in its next evolution to not only deliver innovative and practical electronic trading solutions but also equip clients to take control over those solutions through the UNX SDK.

Prior to joining UNX, Thomas served as Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and led the effort in building a global institutional EMS business through the acquired Townsend Analytics subsidiary.   Prior to his appointment at Lehman Brothers, Thomas also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer of TradingScreen Inc., a global provider of automated trade execution and trade-related products and services; Chief Operating Officer of Mandarin Capital Technologies, a global provider of market data, analytics and securities execution platforms; and Chief Operating Officer for FinancialSockets, a global provider of institutional commission management solutions.
